Red House Recording Artist to Perform at Rhubarb Festival

Duluth, MN -- June 28, 2008 from 9 AM to 4 PM CHUM’s 4^th Annual Rhubarb Festival will be held at 11^th Avenue East and London Road. The Festival has become CHUM’s largest community fund raising event with funds earned supporting CHUM’s food shelves and emergency shelter. This FAMILY EVENT has something for everyone!

FREE stage performances by Minneapolis based Red House Recording artists Anne Reed, Peter Ostroushko and The Pines as well as Duluthians, Jerree Small, Jim Hall, Bill Meier and storyteller Elizabeth Nordell. Performances will be under the tent on London Road at 11^th Avenue East, in front of First Lutheran Church.

Rhubarb Pies, breads, scones, jams and everything made with Rhubarb will be sold whole and by the slice. Children’s activities and games will be held as well as the largest Rhubarb Leaf and Rhubarb Stalk contest for all ages. A Silent Auction rounds out the activities. So, Grab those lawn chairs and bring your taste buds for a fun-filled day!
